It is an interesting fact to regard that some of the most verifiable sightings of UFOs over the last thirty years or so have been around aircraft. One of the first of this event s to be reported happened in 1976 during one of the first test flights of the famous French/UK developed supersonic aircraft, the Concorde. Whilst flying at more than the speed of sound over the English countryside, the Concorde was buzzed a UFO.
There are two pieces of video film available on You Tube. The first is unofficial and looks as if it could have been doctored. Its release date may be uncertain and there is an air of uncertainty about the whole sighting, because of that. Take a look for yourself on
While there is no video footage available, there were many eye witness reports of UFO in the close vicinity when one of the French operated Concorde’s crashed near Paris in 2000. A crash which virtually signaled the end of commercial flight for this aircraft, the first and last of its type to grace the transatlantic skies. .
The first sighting was given credibility by a piece of original and official
British Airways film, during the Concorde’s test flight. Describing a strange white light or probe type object, appearing to descend from the sky above Concorde and following rapidly to below the aircraft. It then reappears as suddenly in front of the fuselage. At the time of the sighting, the Concorde was travelling horizontally and faster than the speed of sound, whilst the UFO kept pace effortlessly.

Another much more recent report of space craft seemingly monitoring aircrafts and flight activities was recorded in November 2006 reaching a peak on the 7th with the sighting of a large, saucer shaped UFO reportedly hovering over the O’Hare Airport in Chicago for several minutes, before it took off at great speed. Whilst there were no Concordes around that day, it shows that our cosmic visitors appear to be as interested in studying more “bread and butter” airplanes and especially how they take off and land.
Some official footage of the sightings can be viewed on the link below.
Both passengers and airline employees who witnessed these occurrences were initially shrugged off with lame excuses, the most popular being a large weather balloon that had broken loose from its moorings. The claims that the object had broken through the clouds and hovered around for a few minutes appeared to be logical and acceptable until the repots confirmed that the object had descended from the clouds to hover above the airport and not ascended. What makes this object unusual when compared to other reported UFO sightings is that it was totally silent and was totally without illumination. Can it be that our alien neighbours are becoming more aware of increased sightings and the ability to record them, that they have learned to keep a lower profile.
What is for sure is that, our flying abilities here on Earth seem to be of increasing interest to UFO’s. Maybe as space flight increases, there will be increased contact between planets.
