UFO Sightings: What To Believe And What Not To Believe?

Tagged Under : , , ,

In recent years, UFO sightings have become much more commonplace, appearing as if to order. Technological developments have made these sightings much easier to corroborate, simply because most people in today’s digitally recorded society have some form of camera in their possession at some time, either a digital camera or a mobile phone.

The problem with digital images is that they can be readily altered, as the Iranians will gladly tell you.  So the question is, what do you believe or who to you believe when you take a look at the latest visual of a UFO hovering over a major North American or  European city.

Jan 1, 2008 Another UFO Sightings!

YouTube is one of the first success stories of the 21st century. The constant flow of short films that appear on it on a daily basis cover just about every subject you could imagine, from news to current affairs, from entertainment to sport. It is no coincidence that YouTube has become a leading platform for short films describing UFO sightings. Some of them appear to be genuine; however the majority is obvious fabrications, made using some fairly sophisticated computer graphics and animation software.

At the moment no one is admitting this, but it seems only a matter of time before we begin to have sponsored UFO sightings, possibly with the name of the sponsor printed on the side of the spaceship.

Much as it can be slightly amusing, it is a pity if not even slightly dangerous to take the subject of alien observation lightly. There are many highly intelligent people who sincerely believe that the Earth is being studied constantly by alien beings, and that this study has been continued since the days of the Neanderthal man.

It cannot be a coincidence that that NASA has invested hundred of millions of dollars and the most cutting edge technology to constantly monitor the heavens, and has done so now for more than half a century. In conjunction observation posts in far flung corners of the globe are being manned around the clock. All this effort can’t be for nothing.

What makes if very frustrating for the believers in the presence of life in other planets is the complete and utter silence from these bodies. Does this silence mean that they are seeing nothing in the skies, or they are seeing so much that they are reluctant to share this information?

For this reason, we have to think twice before we begin to deride the logic that we are not alone in this galaxy. Certainly these simulations do not help, but neither does the silence from these bodies that could possibly provide us with more information than that are prepared to do. For what ever the reason.
