13The summer skies of the beautiful town of Stratford upon Avon, in beautiful rural England were lit up on July 21st 2007 by five UFO’s who buzzed the town, birthplace of Britain’s famous author and playwright, and home of his famous theater.
Bars and restaurants in the town were packed with locals and visitors, with many of them spilling on to the pavements outside on this pleasant midsummer’s evening.
All of a sudden someone spotted the arrival in the clear skies above the city of a small orb like object, that was rapidly joined by another and another till there were a total of five hovering above the picturesque Warwickshire town. In this instance, the UFO’s did not dart across the sky and disappear of into the horizon at great speed. Instead they hovered above the town, apparently drinking in the atmosphere, as well as the beer fumes, for more than half an hour, according to eye witness reports.
These reports also stated that three of the five orbs, formed a triangular object in the sky whilst the other two kept up a random position. Onlookers hastened to contact the relevant authorities to report the arrival of these unusual visitors to Stratford, who remained for more than 30 minutes. The local air traffic control center in nearby Birmingham had no record of unusual activity at the time of the sightings, and those skeptics who were not on the scene, immediately began to come will all kinds of explanations, from their list of usual standards. Hot air balloons, a firework display or the most unlikely of all, paper lanterns that had caught fire and had been blown into the summer sky.
Yet eyewitnesses, more than a hundred in numbers, dismissed these theories by saying that the objects could never have retained such a tight formation for such a long time without being controlled by something. Another characteristic that the eye-witnesses hastened to point out was that the UFOs remained totally silent for all the time they hovered over the town.
One eyewitness had the presence of mind to capture the event on video. Although it is not too clear and the quality is not of the highest, it certainly does display the five objects hovering over the city, possibly investigating some typically medieval English culture.

It would be possible to explain these images away, yet it would be dangerous to dismiss them so readily. The fact that there were more than one hundred witnesses to the event makes it flippant or irresponsible to do so. What these five objects were, what they were doing in the British sky in that clear summer night will simply be added to the ever growing list of sightings of UFOs taking place all over the globe. And seemingly all the time.
