Since the age of mass communication began, mankind has become increasingly fascinated with the prospect that there may be other forms of life existing on planets slightly similar to planet Earth. These planets, whose inhabitants are ever so slightly more developed than us Earthlings, have been observing us for centuries to test our development.
Every now and then, either by accident or desire, they descend too close to our atmosphere and are spotted by innocent passers by, some of whom just happen to be carrying a video camera on them, and manage to get some pretty clear shots of a mysterious and of course unidentified flying object ( UFO )
These sightings add considerable credence to the arguments in favor of the theory that there is life on other planets. It is understandable that there are considerably more people who find it difficult to accept that there are other life forms sharing our universe. Life forms who are capable of building highly sophisticated space craft that can reach as far as planet Earth seem a bit far fetched to a lot of people.
It might be a major coincidence but in recent years the incidences of sighting has risen considerably, in line with the rapid development in animated computer software known as CGI.
One of the most recent and certainly controversial “sightings” was made on the Caribbean Island of Haiti on June 22nd 2007. There are actually two videos that were posted on the same day on You Tube.
The first and mostly widely known version can be viewed below.

UFOs In Haiti?
There is no doubt that to those who believe that there is such as a thing as extraterrestrial beings, this appears to be pretty strong evidence. For those of you who have viewed the video on You Tube cannot fail to be awestruck with the spectacle of the two alien space craft hovering low over the Island, flying in tandem.
The second video posted on the same day shows a space saucer like spacecraft hovering above a beach, and flying really low (around thirty meters). It has to observe that this second video seems a lot less convincing than the first. Form your own conclusions below.

UFO Haiti 2 - In responsese of first video above
The determination of those people who want to believe that we are not alone in the universe will be considerably strengthened by this video and others of that type. There is no question about that.
On the other hand, those who advocate the opposite theory will call out to anyone who will listen “Fabrication!”
If you study these videos fairly closely, you could possibly raise some serious arguments to the authenticity of these films. They way that the space ships are flying, some background noise that is not convincing add weight to that argument.
On the other hand, if these are genuine images, who on Earth has the right to tell them how to fly their craft. After all they may have just flown over several million light years and may have been a little tired (or needed to go to the alien equivalent of the men’s room).
Those in the know at the highest levels of graphics animation will tell you that both the videos are fabrications. They will tell you that someone adept at working with computer generated imagery (CGI) technology will be very capable of creating these videos. The method involves superimposing images on to a fairly static background. A reasonably talented graphic artist could create these images and transfer them on to the background. To create a film such as those known as the Haiti UFO Videos which run for around thirty seconds the producers would have had to create around 300 images, all of them unique with each showing the crafts in a different position against the backdrop. Not easy to do but very possible.
So why would anyone go to the trouble of producing such a video?
One reason could be for the fun of it. To pull the wool over the eyes of the several million people in the World who believe that there are UFO’s. A hoax but a costly one in terms of time spent working on these videos.
A more likely reason is self promotion. Fingers of suspicion point at a France based professional animator, specializing in computer generated imagery that made these videos as part of a research product for a full length feature film that he intends to produce on UFO’s. Rumor has it that the producer was so impressed with his two short films, that he decided to post them on You Tube to get a reaction. It is fair to say that the Frenchman (who will remain anonymous) was frightened and concerned by the unexpected reaction to these films, with millions of hits being made on the videos.
Amazingly enough, despite the detractors, there are still many millions of people out there who are totally convinced that these films are absolutely genuine, they claim that they are as sign that “close encounters of the first kind” i.e. actual physical contact is getting closer by the minute.
It all depends on who or what you choose to believe.
