One of the more interesting phenomena that cause tremendous speculation amongst followers of the UFO is when signs are carved out of crops in a field, mostly in cornfields. The formations, usually in circular form, bear a very strong resemblance to Egyptian hieroglyphics. When they first began to appear, or art least their presence to be noticed, people found it hard to explain. The general theory was that most of them were the work of bored and frustrated combine harvester operators, and one or two were actually genuine or at least possible to explain.
Opinions were that these crop formations were actually some form of signal from another planet, or even the more sinister possibility that these were actually signals sent from UFO’s to their fellow aliens to be read from outer space.
These theories were only conjecture as no-one had ever witnessed a crop formation being created. At least that was the case till June 20th of 2007. The incident was alleged to have taken place in the small town of Hoeven in the Netherlands. What may cast a little doubt on the authenticity of the story was the fact that the young man who claimed to have witnessed the crop formation being formed in the corn field near his home was a known psychic medium. Not only that, but he also predicted a few days previously that the incident would occur and that he would witness it!
The young man, Robbert van den Broeke, reported feeling some kind of energy that told him the UFO or UFOs were approaching. He even drew a sketch of how the formation would look, and when the formation was discovered, it was almost identical to how Robbert described it, with the only major difference that Robbert’s sketch contained on circle less. Now the skeptics among us would say that Robbert made the circles himself. However, to prove the authenticity of the story, Robbert and his sketch were at home under lock and key on the night and specifically during the exact time that the configuration was formed.
Robbert reports that on the night that the configuration appeared he awoke at around midnight and looked out of the window to the corn field bordering his family home. He reported seeing a pinkish purple object shaped like a football that hovered above the field at a spot around fifty meters from his home at a height of twelve feet above the ground. The object made a series of wishing sounds and appeared to be sending out bright beam like lights in phases of around 5-10 seconds at a time. After a few minutes the lights seemed to extinguish themselves and Robbert, obviously very excited, ran outside to the corn field to see if the UFO had left some form of crop formation,
He and his parents were overwhelmed to discover that a formation had been formed, more or less in the format that Robbert had forecast. Robbert was unwilling to state that it was an actual UFO that he saw. Instead it was like a hollow light, not in a solid form and possibly controlled from a distance by a UFO.
That Robbert is a psychic and actually knew when and where these formations would form could create a little suspicion. However those who have met this young man have all reached the same conclusion that he has no reason to lay whatsoever.
